lanoue

Lanoue is a old farm complex, Dated on maps going back to 1700. But probably a lot older as the complex is shown complete on the maps. The farm house is probably the oldest building as some of the buildings are newer.The Farmhouse still as its original beams and  wattle and daub ceilings unlike many refurbished farmhouses which have lost much of there original character. But does benefit from having been tastely modernised and insulated.The farhouse is detatched and situiated in a rural area surrounded by fields and forests, with  private south facing gardens. Where you are able to watch the sun go down over the forests and un blocked sunshine throughout the day.

The farmhouse is currently being used as a succesful gite, which as been fully booked for the last 5 years. Thus offering a great investment opportunity whilst having the benefits of owning a property in france , which will only increase in value. We have only ever let the farmhouse out as a two bedroom gite with optional third bedroom. But it could generate more income from making use of all the bedrooms. This year all the allocated 10 weeks ,where fully booked before the new year indicating its desire ability and potential.

For the last 6 years we have spent our summers in france and enjoyed every minute of it , but we have now decided to sell the farmhouse and this will give us more free time to explore more of  france and travel more across europe. how ever we will keep the cottage  which is situiated to the north of the farmhouse and use this as a  holiday home for our selves. through out the year.
